I was born, raised and based in Los Angeles and lived in New York City for a couple years. I'm currently Digital Editor at The Daily Journal, a publication that covers law in California. I produce podcasts, manage websites and social media and design artwork for articles.

I have a BA in Media Studies from Azusa Pacific University and MA in Journalism from City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism.
I received the CNN Diversity Fellowship for the 2018 Online News Association conference. The fellowship allowed me to have an all-expense paid trip to Austin, Texas and participated in mentorships, workshops and networking events. I was also a judge for the National Association of Hispanic Journalists' 2018 Ñ Awards for their student and digital categories.
I'm Cuban and Native American. I was also diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD at a young age.
